La Dignite is a 501(c) 3 founded in 2007. Our mission is to enhance the dignity and quality of life of less-served individuals and communities globally. Working towards that vision, we engage in numerous community-centered projects that address the more pressing issues experienced by the neglected populations of society such as poverty, low self-esteem, and lack of education--both nationally and internationally.

One of the critical countries that La Dignite has been focusing on assisting for the past several years is Haiti. This country has endured multiple disasters over the past several decades, and in 2016 it is estimated that 12.1 million people were affected by the devastation of Hurricane Matthew. 1.14 million are in need of humanitarian assistance and 90% of the homes have been destroyed in the southern coast of Haiti.

Before Hurricane Matthew hit and caused such widespread devastation in Haiti, it is worth noting that underserved children in Haiti were at risk for human trafficking. The effects of the storm have now exacerbated those risks. As stated on a report in The Huffington Post, "Children of families who lost everything, and those who were separated from their parents, may get sold into forced labor and be subjected to other atrocities because they are so vulnerable." La Dignite's goal is to assist with short term relief and provide long-term assistance to victims of child abuse and neglect as well as protect and provide support for those at risk.

Please make a tax-deductible contribution now to make an impact to protect more children. Your donation really matters. We can do amazing things together this year.
